In order to support the Spares & Services Digital Department, Airbus is looking for a Digital Project Manager - CoE for ERP Spares & Services (d/f/m) based in Hamburg.

At Airbus, our Digital vision is to drive sustainable IT transformation from aircraft design to delivery. The Spares & Services Digital Department provides critical IT solutions for Airbus Material Management worldwide, serving over 20,000 users. You will join a dynamic team of "movers and makers," playing a crucial role in advancing our digital transformation through high-impact SAP projects.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead and manage IT projects , ensuring the successful delivery of SAP solutions for global customers.
  • Drive digital transformation by shaping key projects like the Material Management Industrialisation Platform (MMIP) and the migration to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Plan and execute logistics projects specifically within the Material Management domain for Airbus Customer Services.
  • Collaborate with international teams , fostering cross-functional synergy across different regions.
  • Stakeholder management , ensuring transparent communication and alignment of expectations across the organization.
  • Challenge business requirements to promote the adoption of standard SAP functions and best practices.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , specifically with large-scale SAP implementations.
  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, WM, or IBP.
  • Solid understanding of project methodologies , including both Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects and knowledge of logistics and sales business processes.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to drive change and work autonomously in a result-driven manner.
  • Negotiation level of English ; proficiency in German or French is a significant advantage.
