Airbus is looking for a DevOps Specialist to join in Bengaluru, India. The individual will be responsible for delivering, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability, security, and high availability of cloud environments that power modern SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS solutions.

The Cabin and Customisation Design Automation product consists of solutions and services to ensure automated and seamless E2E use of customer definition for all downstream processes from offer until end of A/C operations.

C&C domain operating in a transnational manner, headquartered in Hamburg,Germany.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education :
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred. Advanced certifications in Cloud and DevOps practices (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert) are an added advantage.
    
• Experience :
  
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, IT operations, or software development with hands-on experience in managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
    
• Technical Expertise :
  
  • Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
    
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) and configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
    
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration techniques.
    
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration, networking, and security fundamentals.
    
• Soft Skills :
  
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with an ability to work under pressure.
    
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to effectively interface with cross-functional teams.
    
  • Adaptability and continuous learning mindset, keeping pace with the rapidly evolving DevOps ecosystem.
    

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Management :
  
  • Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate code testing, building, and deployment.
    
  • Ensure that code changes are continuously integrated and delivered with the highest quality and stability.
    
• Infrastructure Automation & Configuration Management :
  
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar.
    
  • Automate routine operational tasks with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
    
• Collaboration & Process Improvement :
  
  • Bridge gaps between development, testing, and operations teams to foster seamless collaboration.
    
  • Facilitate agile development practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and boost team productivity.
    
• Monitoring, Logging, and Performance Optimization :
  
  • Implement and configure monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively track application performance.
    
  • Analyze system logs and metrics to identify issues, ensure system health, and optimize performance.
    
• Security & Compliance :
  
  • Incorporate security best practices in the automated processes, including vulnerability assessments and compliance checks.
    
  • Collaborate with security teams to automate the enforcement of security policies and ensure that all deployments meet regulatory requirements.
    
• Incident Management & Troubleshooting :
  
  • Manage post-deployment challenges, troubleshooting issues quickly to minimize downtime.
    
  • Develop protocols for rapid incident response and remediation.
    
• This position requires the candidate to work during European hours(12:30 pm - 9:30 pm). The timing might change back to Airbus India General shift(9:00 am - 6:00 pm) as per further evolution of the project.

Travel
