Department Leader Facility Manangement

Job Description:

Ensuring the optimal functionality of all building systems to maintain a safe, compliant and efficient working environment.
Coordination and supervision of all construction, modernization and expansion projects of facilities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and execution standards.
Negotiation, management and monitoring of Facility Management contracts, ensuring the quality and cost efficiency of the services delivered.
Development and implementation of Preventive Maintenance strategies for utilities and building infrastructure, aiming to reduce failures and optimize long-term costs.
Ensuring full compliance of all FMS operations with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) norms and environmental regulations (e.g. waste management, energy consumption).
Effective planning and management of the annual FMS budget identifying and implementing concrete solutions to reduce operational costs (especially utilities)
Leading, motivating and professionally developing the FMS team, setting clear performance objectives and promoting excellence in service delivery.

In line with the Airbus leadership model, manage direct team(s).

Engage, develop and motivate the direct team(s), within Airbus Values using the HR processes & development tools.

Build a trustful and inclusive environment, promoting collaboration facts driven decisions and an out of silos mindset.

Ensure deliverables on time, cost and quality to ensure Customer Satisfaction; escalate risks and opportunities.

Encourage innovation and continuous improvement by detecting and eliminating non added-value activities.

Secure the business at short/mid/long term, contributing to increase Airbus profitability.
