As space assets become increasingly vital to global security, the need for specialized protection has never been greater. We are looking for a dedicated security professional to take end-to-end security responsibility for our Spanish Space Domain.

The Role:

Protect the Spanish Space Business: Space Security Specialist Wanted

We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to take full, end-to-end responsibility for our Space Domain. This is a unique opportunity to manage the entire security lifecycle: from the first blueprint to the active defense of our assets. As the guardian of our space Customer , your work will bridge the gap between high-level architecture and hands-on operational excellence .

Your Mission:

• You will Architect: You will design secure systems and perform compliance checks and risk assessments to ensure our space-based assets are built to last.
  
• You will Strengthen:
  

• You will liaise and consult with our internal customers according to cyber security standards and support them in achieving their goals, including mission-critical projects reaching as far as Mars.
  
• You will define the standard for our systems by creating hardening guidelines and taking ownership of product security.
  

• You will Defend: You will lead our operational defense by managing security technologies (e.g. EDR), driving proactive vulnerability management, and ensuring our network remains secure through efficient, streamlined security request management (firewall and access control ticketing).
  

What you bring:

• A deep toolkit of cyber security skills, from architectural design to operational defense.
  
• Experience with vulnerability management and endpoint protection
  
• The ability to turn complex security requirements into clear, practical hardening guidelines.
  
• Broad IT technology knowledge to develop security architectures and to be able to find security weaknesses
  
• A proactive mindset: You don't just find problems; you design the solutions.
  
• CISSP or similar certification is an advantage.
  
• Basic knowledge of conducting audits is an advantage
  
• Excellent communication skills to act as a security partner to our engineering teams
  
• Openness and willingness to face new technological developments
