Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Procurement Contracts Manager (m/f) to join our "Procurement Contracts department" dedicated to the Space Systems Business line. The successful candidate will be based in Bremen, Germany .

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Act as the Procurement Contract Manager (“PCM”) Focal Point for applicable Space Systems business activities and programs, mainly in Germany,
- Provide the support and drive your advice of Call for Tenders (CFTs) by challenging/assessing/approving the contractual baselines, assessing the contractual elements of bids, preparing/supporting the negotiations and overseeing the contract awards,
- Prepare, perform and lead contract drafting and negotiations in close collaboration with the Procurement function,
- Approve and sign the Contract Validation Form (CVF) ensuring all key elements - including executive summaries, deviations, risks, and opportunities - are accurately captured and approved, prior to any Airbus final signature,
- Hand in hands with the Procurement function, oversee and manage the contract lifecycle, including: preparation, drafting and negotiation of complex contracts, amendments, claims and settlement agreements, and other key contractual documents,
- Mitigate contractual risks by providing contractual expert analysis and advice during disagreements or potential disputes between Airbus and our partners, suppliers,
- Provide support for the preparation/defense of claims and pre-litigation matters,
- Provide cross-functional expertise in contract design, drafting, and negotiation for Airbus departments outside of the Procurement function,
- Advise internal stakeholders on the contractual implications of strategic projects, specifically, but not only, regarding confidentiality and Intellectual Property (IP),
- Develop new and further development of existing Procurement Academy training; coaching and training-on-the-job of our stakeholders in the areas of contracts management and negotiations,
- In the objectives to enhance performance and agility, standardize procurement excellence by proposing, drafting and revising standard contracts that integrate economic, commercial, technological, legal, and risk management requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- You hold a successfully completed university degree (Master's level) in Legal and/or Business Administration or equivalent, with experience in Contact Management, Business Law, or a comparable experience.
- You possess a good experience in Contract Management as well as in the legally secure drafting and design of procurement agreements (3+ years).
- You communicate at a fully negotiation-proof level in German and have fluent English language skills to cooperate effectively in an international context. German language is mandatory.
- Your are open-minded, self-motivated team-player, you provide a “Can Do” attitude who enjoys finding solutions to contractual issues / challenges,
- You are Customer oriented, with excellent communication and collaboration skills,
- Analytical and rigorous, able to break-down and explain complex topics to a variety of stakeholders,
- Pragmatic, able to balance contractual and business risks, priorities, oversights and compliance,
- Willing to take on big and small tasks, ranging from operational support to strategic projects.
