Job Description:

At Airbus Chile w e are hiring a h ighly motivated and outgoing professional with communications background, looking for hands-on Communications experience.

You main responsibilities at Airbus will be:

Events:

  • Support the coordination of the Airbus exhibition at FIDAE 2026 Airshow.
  • Organize and/or provide logistical support during local events, exhibitions and demo tours planning by liaising with vendors, event organizers, design teams and working with procurement .
  • Design and publish invitations, event programs, brochures, record and edit short videos as needed.
  • Support local customer events planning and VIP activities.


Internal Communications:

  • Work in coordination with team to support with the creation, editing and posting of content to company intranet and in-house television network for Latin America team.
  • Ensure latest company-wide campaign is visible and up to date in Chile (including poster allocation).
  • Work on regional communication plans such as Ethics and Compliance, Export Control, HR topics and others as needed.
  • Keep track of commercial milestones and achievements to help celebrate success internally.
  • Contribute to employee engagement through organization of Town Halls, Family Days, Regional weblives and other activities


External Communications:

  • Support Community Relations activities for Airbus Chile, including facility visits, simulator sessions, etc.
  • Work with marketing to ensure the latest fleet information is updated in press kit assets.
  • Support Crisis Management duties.


Other responsibilities:

  • Support the deployment of performance management dashboards.
  • Support in maintaining customer giveaways and promotional items inventory.
  • Manage procurement, logistics and good receipt of promotional items.
  • Support presentation creations, key messages and briefs.
  • Other support tasks as needed.


The requirements for this position are:

  • Aviation knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese and/or French is a plus).
  • 3-5 years of proven work experience.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the ability to write stories in a news style format (in English and Spanish)
  • Comfortable using photography, making videos and desktop publishing tools.
  • Interested in working with diverse cultures from Latin America and the Caribbean.
  • Journalism and Communications majors are encouraged to apply. Must be interested in the aerospace industry.

Additional information:

  • Selected candidate will be required to work on site the Airbus Chile.
  • Hybrid work environment.
  • Temporary contract (maternity leave replacement).
