Job Description

Job Description:

Brief Description: Prepare, execute and report flight test guaranteeing flight safety at the Final Assembly Line for C295 in India (Vadodara).

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure the safety of Airbus flight operations carried out from Vadodara or on detachment from this base.
  • Perform ground and flight test on C295.
  • Local link in Vadodara with Airbus DS Chief Test Pilot.
  • Manage Flight Dispatch (Flight Plan, Weather, NOTAMS, etc).
  • Implement Airbus DS policy and procedures, for matters relevant to local operations.
  • Assure flight safety and flight operations.
  • Coordinate local flight scheduling.
  • Local coordination with Final Assembly Line, Flight Line, Airport Authorities, Indian Air Force and Air Traffic Authorities.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • English language, equivalent of Level 5 EASA
  • Test Pilot Graduate
  • C295 qualified captain
  • Technical Logbook (TLB) management
  • Configuration control
  • Leadership and Communication skills
  • Availability for traveling occasionally, including training period in Spain
