Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for the complete Electronic product lifecycle development , and in-service support of the Cabin/ Avionics Systems for the Airbus aircraft programs. The new position is within the Cabin Electronics team, responsible for developing and supporting high quality products, satisfying customer needs for operating aircraft safely, securely and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You are involved in concept creation for new electronic equipment and you give inputs to specification and planning process.
  • You organize and review development for electronic equipment in the context of the aviation certification process.
  • You generate all needed design data for Electronic products.
  • You will develop electronic devices for cabin/systems (digital and analog design, initial operation and verification of prototypes).
  • You create and evaluate documents for supplier selection and you will monitor subcontractors.
  • You perform functional and environmental qualification testing according to aviation requirements (EMC, vibrations, temperature, etc.).
  • You create and verify documents for certification and for production of equipment.
  • You will coordinate with the project management, the software department, the production technology and the quality management.

Required Education:

• B.Tech./M.Tech.in Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering or similar

Required skills and expertise:


• You have 6-8 years of experience in Electronic product development.

  • You are aware of current electronic technologies, architectures, standards and market trends.
  • Hands on experience in using the schematic generation tools and requirement management tools such as DOORS.

• You have proven knowledge in different phases of electronic design such as Requirement generation, Detailed design, Schematic generation, Board bring up testing, Functional testing.

• You have knowledge of certification according to RTCA DO-254.

  • You have experience in Qualification testing according to DO-160 or similar standards.
  • Understanding of the FPGA development life cycle including the source code design, test bench based verification.

• Strong problem solving and logical thinking ability

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Flexibility and adaptability to different work streams based on stage of development lifecycle

• Ability to work well in a global team environment
