Location: London Oxford Airport, Kidlington & Abingdon and Witney College
Duration: 3 Years

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Project Manager Apprentice, you’ll work with the AHUK Customisation team to deliver helicopter design projects, installation kits, and business improvements. Your role will include:

  • Managing and delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards (OTOCQ: On Time, On Cost, On Quality)
  • Reporting project status, schedules, and actions accurately
  • Identifying and managing risks and opportunities to drive project success
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Travelling between Oxford Airport, Abingdon & Witney College, and other locations as needed


What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about aviation, eager to develop as a Project Manager, and ready to dive into the world of aviation projects. You will need:

  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Strong IT skills (G-Suite knowledge is essential)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to break down large problems into manageable goals
  • A UK driving license and the ability to travel for the role (around 80% travel required)
  • Formal entry requirement of the apprenticeship including right to work in the UK
  • A commitment to complete the full 3-year apprenticeship program


Minimum Qualification Criteria

  • English and Math's, - Minimum Grade 5
  • Desirable ICT - Minimum Grade 5
  • A Level in any subject (x3) or Equivalent L3 Qualification


Desirable but not Essential:

  • A background or interest in business, aviation, or engineering
  • Familiarity with Project Management tools (e.g., scheduling, risk management, and action tracking)
  • Experience with SAP
