Space Systems delivers leading space technology and solutions for commercial and government customers around the globe. The Programme Line’s expertise includes telecommunications satellites for any mission, very-high-resolution Earth observation instruments, unique deep space missions, flawless International Space Station operations and lunar exploration. From the smallest electronic parts and spacecraft equipment to in-orbit delivery of satellites and associated services, reaching for the stars is the daily business of Space Systems.

We are looking for a Project Leader who will work in close relation with Engineering, Production and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure an industrial process for the launcher programmes.

You will belong to a dynamic team in a department who is encharge of the End to End manufacturing of different programmes (TSMSA). You will work with a team across multiple disciplines to deliver on Quality, on Time and on Cost components inside Spacecraft Production Spain Programmes.

Main activities:

  • Planning: generation of the Integrated Project Planning defining manufacturing activities, long and short-term needs, procurement of materials, assembly tools & MGSE. Follow up of manufacturing activities and identification of the critical areas. Participation to the overall Integrated Project Planning.
  • Manufacturing Budget preparation and control: Calculate, analyse and control production costs.
  • Support new work package and offers.
  • Spacecraft Production Spain inputs and outputs management.
  • Risk and opportunities assessment.
  • Project status reporting.


Required skills and knowledge :

  • Industrial Engineer or Aerospace Engineer Degree or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, manufacturing and financial analysis.
  • Pro-activity and autonomy.Team working ability
  • Leadership skills to manage different stakeholders
  • Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
  • Able to work in an integrated manufacturing Team, autonomously in a proactive and responsible manner.
  • Able to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team;
  • Able to work in one or more projects managing the workload, under pressure and adaptability in a changing environment
  • Able to work in an organized and ordered manner complying with the Company, Quality and H&S standards.
  • Iron certification level (or equivalent) is recommended.
