Job Title: Airframe Business Analyst_Electrical FIN Management

Job Description:

The job holder is placed under the authority of the Structures - Aerostructures Data Management Team in the Airframe Department within Airbus Group India Private Limited. Elec ART team, is responsible for working with PLM tools and Community provides services which enable end-users (internal and suppliers) to efficiently use deployed Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions on a day-to-day basis and to facilitate the security as well as the quality of data generated and modified with these solutions. As a Airframe Business Analyst for FIN Management, you will be joining the emerging Agile SAFe and will be responsible for the entire release of tools and support of PM&T focusing Electrical Design for aircrafts programmes that are in-service, under development and planned for the future. This will involve extensive collaboration with the wider Airbus community.

Main Activities:

  • Prepare, Lead and manage Business Releases - Epics/Capability/features to be deployed (VersionOne as a Master)
    • Define Business Release /solution roadmap with relevant Epic Owner(s) and Product Manager / Solution manager.
    • Validate Business Release roadmap with MCA and Programs (Blue / Orange Plan alignment) including MVP0.
    • Attend Pre and Post PI to ensure and follow consistency of Business Release.
    • Identify interdependencies with other Large Solution impacts and put regular meetings with other Business release managers to synchronise the Blue / Orange plan (e.g. SA LEAN PLM) and align strategy deployment with regular points/milestones of synchronisation especially if PI is not synchronized.
    • Define deployment strategy with relevant stakeholders & build a deployment plan (awareness, training, BOS, methods, UG...etc)
    • Active Risks and Opportunity management with Identification of mitigation actions/plan/identifying critical path and fallback scenarios.
    • Manage Data Compliance (EE/Export Control/GDPR/IP requirements/data segregation) for Electrical Design Solutions
    • Manage awareness & training Material creation and validation
    • Manage Go/No Go business deployment gate review/steering with relevant customers & stakeholders, Programs (including Airframe Program), LS, MCA, DDMS, Procurement (if suppliers involved)
  • Lead and Manage post business deployment phase and ELS (Early Life Support) with BOS/Elbow support team

Qualification and Experience:

  • Engineering graduate or postgraduate with 4-7 years of experience in the Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical domain, with background on Airbus Electrical Processes.
  • Experienced in one of the domains below for the role
    • Electrical Functional knowledge: Wiring Diagram, Principle Diagram, Sketch, DQN, Configuration management with tools such as Capital, CIRCE-C, CIRCE-G, TAKSY ELSY / GESY, BCAWD, SIDIE
    • Electrical Physical product knowledge: Catia design like Full 3D design process knowledge, Proptool, 2DGraph, Morphology, Electrical Layouts process, ADAP/ADF design solution preparation, of PartZone/, ESI Design Automation
    • Electrical Manufacturing knowledge: Form Board design, CIRCE-P
  • Functional Knowledge on Product Data Management (Product Structure, Release Process, Change management, BOM, etc.) on Single Aisle/A350/A380 programs.
  • Hands-on experience of CAD/PDM/TDM applications (such as Windchill, Enovia VPM, CADINT, CATIA V5, APS, DMU tools,etc..) and good understanding of configuration management, Digital Mock Up principle.
  • Understanding on Downstream feeding from Electrical Functional Design to Manufacturing and Customer Services toolsets.
  • Awareness of the Lean PLM SA project would be a plus.
  • Knowledge on SQL queries to do some data analysis is an added advantage.
  • Software Project Management experience will be preferred. Understanding of finance, business planning, stakeholder management is expected.

  • Managing Electrical Design Airframe M&T Roadmaps updating and presenting to the customers on quarterly basis
  • Estimate efforts, Manage Budget/Finance, manage suppliers, manage business case and business benefit realization with customers.
  • Management of Electrical Design Business Input to IM activity includes
  • Lead and manage Business Testing of Electrical Design solutions
    • Define aBT/BAT strategy (Business Acceptance Test), Test Scenarios, Test cases, Test scripts, feature/capability coverage matrix, data flow diagrams and test data specifications
    • Prepare Business Test strategy, organize HP Quality Center (HPQC, now known as ALM) & manage
    • Identify, plan and manage Business Testers (along with their budget expectations) including suppliers if relevant as agreed with Program, Project & Procurement.
    • Prepare and Manage the Business Test Campaign
    • Lead Business Test Executions and Defect Management - Organize and drive daily defect drum beats
    • Manage conclusion of Business Testing and get sign off from key stakeholders..

  • Well aware of Project Lifecycle, from initiation to closure. Ability to generate KPI and drive improvements at different levels of project lifecycle.
