Job Description:

The job holder will be part of the Aerostructures Data Management Team of Structures Department within Airbus Group India Private Limited.

Business Analyst at Airbus India is responsible for supporting the development of new Process , Methods & Tools (PMT) and also provides support to improve existing architecture. In this role you will work closely with Activity owners , Business Owners , Business Architects and Tool responsibles from several large solutions.

You will work within Airbus Process DE.PA .03.01 (Design Components) and ensure collaboration between business stakeholders and digital development teams. As a Business Analyst for DMU Services, you will be responsible for supporting DMU applications, cDMU process and do proactive gap analysis for PMT development. You have to perform As-Is analysis of current processes and propose business improvements to adapt to the new tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Business to review 3DX capabilities for cDMU preparation and DMU review/validation activities for new generation Airbus PLM Toolsets.
  • Understand the pain points of As-Is business processes and propose improvements by defining To-Be solutions.
  • Proactively propose solutions to adopt Business processes for new tool development.
  • Work with process owners and activity owners in adopting the processes.
  • Focusing on product quality management, knowledge-based engineering, and quality rule definition .
  • Ensure cross functional collaboration between business stakeholders and digital development teams .
  • Work with the digital teams to test and validate the new toolsets . Ensure they are working as per the business processes.
  • Understand new needs and demands from the stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate skills on stakeholder coordination, technical discussions/reviews, milestones achievement in line with business / customer needs.
  • Formalise and evaluate potential improvements proactively, and make proposals to Airbus Process for improvements.
  • Create awareness & provide support on new or updated procedures related to DMU requirements to stakeholders.
  • Network & liaise with a broad range of Design sub-domains.
  • Contribute to reviews, provide technical support to peers and involved stakeholders.
  • Comply with ways of working agreed between European Engineering Entities and the Indian Centre ensuring effective communication is established and maintained.
  • Ensure the appropriate reporting and publishing on his/her activities, with a focus on the process followed, achievements and lessons learned.
  • Support digitization and development of automation tools .

Technical Skills :

  • Good knowledge on 3DExperience applications.
  • Good understanding on PASS SSI , VPM etc., as an end user.
  • Good understanding of DMU & QC tools like context builder, Novodesk, TrendV5, 3Dcockpit , ACDC and De2Mat.
  • Proficient knowledge of Airbus methods and processes in the context of Configured Digital Mock-up process and Design in context.
  • Basic knowledge of automation and data analytics to perform proactive gap analysis.
  • 3DX Quality check rules, interference detection, and finally, review and validation apps.
  • 3DX Design Validation App and Action Management.
  • 3DX Knowledge-Based Engineering and Quality Rule Definition & Quality Rule Management and Designer Workflow.

Qualification : Engineering qualification background (at least Bachelor of Engineering / Technology or Masters preferably in Mechanical or aeronautical domain )

Experience : Preferably 3-8 years of relevant domain (Design) experience

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to the technical requirements.
  • The job requires ability to communicate in a multicultural environment
  • The job requires travels to Europe, as necessary for the efficiency of the project.
  • To understand Airbus culture, procedures and customer needs
  • Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution. Commitment to continuous learning
  • Good verbal & written English skills are a must
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in holding conversations with customers and customer-centric outreach
