AI Software Developer & Embedded Systems (m/w/d)

Job Description:

Tätigkeiten

• Konzeption, Entwicklung und Integration von AI-Lösungen in Space-Systeme (z. B. Predictive Maintenance, Anomalie-Erkennung, autonome Entscheidungen im Orbit, Signalverarbeitung mit ML)
  
• Verbesserung und Automatisierung von Entwicklungsprozessen durch AI-Tools (CI/CD-Pipelines, Code-Qualitätsanalyse, Testautomatisierung mit ML, Data-Driven Development)
  
• Design, Implementierung, Verifikation und Validierung von Flug-, Simulations- und Test-Software für Embedded Real-Time Systeme
  
• Definition und Analyse von Software-, System- und AI-Anforderungen (Spezifikationen, User Stories, Backlogs) in enger Abstimmung mit Systemingenieuren, Hardwareentwicklern und Data Scientists
  
• SW/HW-Systeminbetriebnahme auf Entwicklungshardware, Integration von AI-Modellen in Embedded Umgebungen sowie Fehleranalyse in komplexen Umgebungen
  
• Erstellung und Pflege technischer Dokumentation sowie aktive Mitgestaltung agiler Prozesse (Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retro, Planning)
  
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung relevanter Prozessstandards (z. B. ECSS, NewSpace, Agile) und zeitliche Abschätzung eigener Arbeitspakete
  

Qualifikation:

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium (Master/Diplom) in Informatik, Software Engineering, Elektrotechnik, Nachrichtentechnik, Physik oder verwandten Bereichen mit Fokus auf AI/Machine Learning
  
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Machine Learning, Deep Learning und deren Anwendung auf Embedded Systems (z. B. TensorFlow Lite, ONNX Runtime, TinyML, Computer Vision für Space Applications)
  
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Embedded Real-Time Systemen mit **C** sowie Erfahrung mit RTOS wie VxWorks, RTEMS oder Embedded Linux
  
• Erfahrung in der Luft- und Raumfahrt, Automotive oder Medizintechnik ist von Vorteil
  
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in HW-orientierter Schnittstellenprogrammierung und Protokollen wie SpaceWire, MILBUS, CAN, PUS oder TCP/IP
  
• Sicherer Umgang mit UNIX/Linux Entwicklungsumgebungen, Versionskontrolle (Git, SVN), Software Configuration Management (SCM) sowie AI-Frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
