Scope of Position
Responsible for monitoring and controlling all maintenance tasks in accordance with Aircraft Approved Maintenance Programme (OMP), Airworthiness Directive (AD) and Service Bulletin (SB) and assisting in non-routine continuing airworthiness support with respect to the daily operation of Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO).
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring through the workforce under his/her control, that the quality of workmanship in the final product is accomplished to the highest standards of airworthiness, a standard acceptable to our client and the relevant Authorities.
Ensuring all regulatory responsibilities is being followed as per the approved Airbus Defence and Space (ADS)’ requirements.
Responsible on the development and the approval of Aircraft Approved Maintenance Programme (OMP) and ensure scheduled maintenance is timely planned and monitor its performance in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Programme (OMP).
Planning of all maintenance tasks with reference to the constraints of approved maintenance program, including Component replacement, Airworthiness and Operational Directives and Service Bulletins (SB), Deferred Defects, Monitoring of modifications and repairs
Forecast and call out the application of Airworthiness Directive (AD)/ Service Bulletin (SB)/ Advance Service Bulletin (ASB).
Ensure mandatory documents i.e. Airworthiness Directive (AD), mandatory Service Bulletin (SB) are timely embodied (within the compliance period).
Ensure aircraft records, technical documents / data are adequately maintained and controlled.
Implement timely corrective actions resulting from quality assurance audits.
Coordinating the possibility to defer maintenance task and rescheduling within the approved time limits (Minimum Equipment list).
Proactively seek collaboration and coordination closely with different technical experts/representatives locally or from Airbus central offices in Europe to ensure efficient and safe support to the A400M fleet.
Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be the exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct.
Perform any task assigned by Head of Department.
Background and Skills
Minimum education: Degree in Aeronautical Engineering with minimum 4 years of working experiences in aircraft planning and records or Engineering field
Minimum experience: At least more than 4 years of experiences in continued airworthiness activities. Experienced with Airbus family aircraft and applications will be an advantage.
Other Qualifications/Skills:
Excellent knowledge of CAAM Part M and part 145 regulations.
Have an extensive experiences and technical background on CAMO domain.
Leadership skills to coordinate different stakeholders
Good command of written and spoken English and Malay
Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Meticulous, proactive and able to lead subordinates
Experienced with Airbus family aircraft and applications will be an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand, interpret and apply regulatory requirements and workplace agreements
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
High degree of credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust
