About the role:

The Social Media Manager owns the day‑to‑day management and optimisation of Veygo’s social media presence across priority platforms. Working within the direction set by the Head of Social & Content, this role ensures content is published consistently, communities are actively managed, and performance is tracked to deliver social activity at pace and at scale. It’s a highly autonomous role suited to a proactive, creative self‑starter with a strong understanding of Gen Z and youth audiences.

Main responsibilities:

Social execution & day‑to‑day channel management

  • Execute social plans and content calendars across priority platforms
  • Publish and optimise content across TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Reddit
  • Make day‑to‑day judgement calls within agreed guardrails
  • Ensure content is delivered consistently and on time

Community management & engagement

  • Own day‑to‑day community management and moderation
  • Partner with Customer Service teams on product‑related queries
  • Build positive sentiment and engagement

YouTube channel ownership

  • Own the structure and day‑to‑day management of YouTube
  • Maintain channel hygiene, playlists and publishing cadence
  • Track performance and insights

Tracking, reporting & insight

  • Track performance and produce regular reports
  • Feed insights back into content execution

Budget & operational management

  • Track day‑to‑day content budgets and maintain budget trackers
  • Flag risks and issues early

Essential experience:

  • Hands-on social media management experience across TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook
  • Strong understanding of Gen Z audiences

Desirable experience:

  • Experience in regulated or high-consideration categories
  • Experience building community-led brands
