About the role
As a UX Researcher on our team, you'll be responsible for conducting both generative and evaluative research, from initial ideation to delivering actionable insights. Your primary goal will be to champion customer-centricity, showcasing the value of UX Research throughout the organisation by generating insights that drive product development and ensuring stakeholders easily perceive the value of research activities.Whether you're an experienced research practitioner looking to take the next step in your career, an agency-side professional eager to lead projects from conception to delivery, or a client-side expert seeking a new challenge, we invite you to join us on this journey.
What you'll be doing
Promoting customer-centricity within Adaptavist- Champion UX Research by demonstrating its power through practical application.- Deliver research insights persuasively to prioritise user success in product decisions.- Implement knowledge and expertise in UX Research for consistent, high-quality results.- Contribute to building and maintaining a centralised customer knowledge base for optimised research value.
Become the expert on customers and their needs- Develop customer understanding through research.- Drive product development with this knowledge, including discovery, validation, and refinement of features and ideas.- Provide insightful analysis of customer needs, leading to commercially viable opportunities.- Effectively communicate customer understanding within Venue.sh and the broader Adaptavist Group, engaging all levels of the organisation.
Help develop the research agenda- Foster relationships with teams to grasp their strategic and tactical priorities, aligning them with customer needs.- Identify opportunities to maximise the power of research and its value across the Adaptavist group.- Ensure that research projects are delivered on time and within budget.
What we're looking for
- A research practitioner, either in UX or with a deep understanding of using customer-centric research in innovation or new proposition development. - Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams, guiding them on effective research practices.- Openness to learning new methods and improving skills.- Capability to instil a culture of continuous research and customer-centricity within teams.- Ability to inspire teams to deliver research inputs to the required standards (e.g. stimulus, prototypes etc.)- Experience in communicating and influencing stakeholders, particularly UX designers, Marketing, Engineering, and Product Managers.
