About the role
We're excited to be looking for a Senior Atlassian Consultant to join our team of talented professionals.
As a Senior Consultant, you will leverage your expertise and contribute to the success of our customers' businesses. Your strategic insights and comprehensive understanding of Atlassian products will enable you to provide valuable guidance, optimize workflows, and streamline processes for our esteemed clientele. You will join a growing consulting team spread around Cologne and Wiesbaden. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on exciting projects and initiatives, driving innovation and delivering transformative solutions. With your in-depth knowledge of Atlassian products, you will implement customized strategies and configurations, ensuring our customers maximize their investment and achieve operational excellence.
Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will be vital in building solid relationships with our valued customers. As a trusted advisor, you will proactively identify their needs, provide expert recommendations, and deliver personalized training sessions, empowering them to use Atlassian products to their full potential effectively.

What you'll be doing

  • Management and configuration of Jira and other Atlassian products (Confluence, Crowd, Bamboo, Bitbucket)
  • Analyzing customer needs, creating the project, flow, screen, custom field designs, and definitions, and adapting these needs to Jira
  • Developing and leading a team to success
  • Examining the error notifications from the customer, making technical analysis, intervening in the situation, or communicating the need to the technical team

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in consulting, ideally in IT (software and digitization projects)
  • Experience in the management of digital transformation projects (preferably with a focus on Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Trello)
  • To have an idea about project and process management concepts such as ITSM, Asset Management, CRM, PPM, Agile, and SAFE
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak with customers in a clear and professional manner
  • Able to pull the team in the right direction at stormy times
  • Strong intercultural mindset and project management skills, with experience managing projects from start to finish
  • Demonstrated ability to document and maintain professional work standards
  • Experience working in an agile team environment
  • Programming Background
  • Good command of written and spoken German and English
