Life as a Workplace Host at Accurx
Our Workplace team is responsible for curating an inclusive first-class work experience for accuFolk and visitors, which means the role of a Workplace Host is an important one. First impressions count for everything!
As Workplace Host you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, demonstrating the highest level of customer service and engagement. You will look after all aspects of our front-of-house experience, letting your innovation and positivity shine through as you foster genuine relationships with visitors, clients and employees.
Behind the scenes, you will utilise your excellent coordination skills as you undertake a range of workplace-related duties and work collectively with the accuFolk to achieve a one-team approach.
Standard working hours for this job will be Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. Please note, this job is office-based only and on occasion there may be times where you will be expected to work outside of these times but between the hours of 7am and 7pm
Reception
Providing a flexible and adaptable hosted concierge-style reception service, proactively greeting and receiving visitors. Ensuring the reception, external meeting rooms, and waiting areas are always kept tidy and professional in appearance. Supporting event organisers in greeting attendees and keeping attendance records.
Workplace Support
Proactively reviewing room bookings and preparing them for external meetings. Troubleshooting AV problems in external meeting rooms and escalating where necessary. Supporting the delivery of day-to-day workplace operations which include cleaning, access control, health and safety, M&E contractors, cultural initiatives and events. Supporting the Workplace Operations team in projects and with ad hoc administrative duties.
Health and Safety Support
Keeping accurate records of workplace statutory maintenance Completing recurring Health and Safety compliance tasks Carrying out Fire Marshal duties Acting as the go-to First Aider

- You have previous experience in a Receptionist or Concierge role in a fast-paced environment
- You have experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite
- You have strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- You are confident communicating clearly in person, over the phone and via email

Salary & Benefits Package:
💰 £32,000 salary + the value of £14,500 share options
