Job Description

At Accurx, we're on a mission to make patients healthier and healthcare staff happier. 💚

Who are Accurx? 🤔

We’re a fast-growing healthcare technology company which makes it easier for patients and healthcare teams to communicate.

Accurx is where conversations happen with and about patients. Our software helps doctors, nurses, pharmacists, administrators and other professionals to seamlessly connect with both patients and each other.

Our mission is simple: everything we do is to make patients healthier and healthcare staff happier. Today, Accurx is used in 98% of GP practices nationwide and every day more healthcare professionals are using our software in hospitals, pharmacies, care homes and the community.

We’re passionate about staying close to our users, which is why everyone at Accurx visits a GP practice at least twice a quarter to understand how a practice runs, the difficulties they face with technologies and how we can help.

Although we’ve initially tackled the UK healthcare system, we have big ambitions to improve healthcare systems across the world in the future. If you want to hear from some of our Accufolk about what it's like to work for us, take a look at a video from our 2023 summer conference!🤩

Life as a Workplace Coordinator at Accurx

Our Workplace team is responsible for curating an inclusive first-class work experience for all accuFolk and their visitors, which means the role of a Workplace Coordinator is an important one. First impressions count for everything!

As Workplace Coordinator, you’ll also be part of the team responsible for running the day-to-day workplace operations which covers a range of services from maintenance, security, health and safety through to cultural initiatives and company events!

Your time in this role will be varied, no two days will be the same in this role. We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done, with no job too big or small when it comes to ensuring the office is running effectively.

Workplace Support

You’ll be supporting the Workplace Lead, taking pride in your workplace to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, tidiness and decoration are maintained across the office and will be the first point of contact for all workplace enquiries that come through, actioning them and feedback accordingly to improve the workspace. You’ll assist with the management of external contractors, working with the kitchen staff, cleaning services and security services to keep a safe, clean and happy office environment.

Health and Safety

You’ll also help to support the Workplace Lead to ensure good health and safety practices, completing recurring compliance tasks and keeping accurate records or data and statutory maintenance and Health & Safety tasks up to date.

Events

This is also an exciting opportunity to support the workplace engagement and well-being initiatives and be the go-to person for our on-site events. You’ll be the go-to person to support the events organisers in planning, ordering catering and getting everything setup ready for both internal and external events.

Reception Cover

At times you will also be tasked with reception cover for breaks, annual leave or unexpected leave, creating a great first impression for every team member, candidate and visitor who walks through our door.

This role is required to be in the office 5 days a week. Your usual office hours will be 8am - 4:30 pm but there may be occasions when you’re asked to help out with an event outside of these hours (no later than 7pm or earlier than 7am).

What the team say ...,

“I am very excited about growing our team. This role is perfect for someone with a deep passion for innovation, forging solid connections and attention to detail. As our Workplace Coordinator, you will be part of the team responsible for running the day-to-day workplace operations, contribute to an incredible office expansion project and play a vital part in shaping an exhilarating chapter in our journey. “ Fred Perez - Workplace Lead

We'd really like to hear from you, if ...

  • You have previous experience in a workplace or facilities role or as a Reception Manager
  • You have previous experience in managing external contractors
  • You are able to prioritise and manage a workload effectively hitting key deadlines
  • You have experience using Google Workspace software
  • You are excited to learn about all things workplace operations and have a can-do attitude
  • You're mission-driven: you care about positively impacting the lives of millions
  • You’re always collaborating: you place team success over personal success and you enjoy working in an open, collaborative environment.
  • You demonstrate responsible ownership: when you see something not working, you'll flag it and be part of the solution
  • You seek continuous improvement: you’re always developing new skills and insights, while exploring ways to do things better
  • You’re mindful of balance: you're conscious of your own health and that of others. You think carefully about how best to focus your efforts, knowing when to push yourself to reach a goal.
