Within Accenture, the Salesforce Insurance practice is a strategic growth priority. We partner with tier one insurers to modernise core customer, policy, and claims journeys using Salesforce Industries, Financial Services Cloud, and cloud-native architectures at scale.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a senior, client-facing Salesforce Solution Architect specialising in Insurance. This is a lead architecture role, owning end to end solution design for complex insurance transformations, shaping client strategy, and guiding delivery teams through execution.

You will be trusted to define target-state architectures, influence stakeholders, and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background within insurance (either retail P&C, Health or Large Commercial) and deep experience on how to leverage Salesforce & industry solutions for value. You know how to use Salesforce to creatively design, prototype and implement solutions for your client’s unique challenges. This is a lead role and requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry and the ability to design and implement innovative solutions on Salesforce that meet our clients' needs.

As a Solution Architect, you will:

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Salesforce Industries (Vlocity)-based insurance transformations, from discovery through delivery.

• Lead client stakeholders to gather needs and translate them into technical solutions while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with innovative industry practices.

• Develop your leadership and consulting skills whilst delivering Salesforce at scale. Deliver measurable client value in some of the most dynamic and challenging environments

• Act as a recognised insurance domain authority within the Accenture Salesforce practice, shaping offerings, patterns, and point-of-view for the market.

• Influence Salesforce roadmap discussions, internal architecture standards, and client transformation strategies within the insurance sector.

• Gain additional skills in Salesforce, solutions, project management, and client engagement through practical experience and training.

We are looking for experience in the following:

• Experience as an architect in the insurance industry where you have lead an organisation and teams through design phases and producing target architecture.

• Demonstrated experience with senior technology and business stakeholders – i.e. CTO, Enterprise Architects, ‘Head of’ business divisions.

• Extensive experience with Financial Services Cloud, Salesforce Industries / Vlocity for Insurance

• Experience architecting solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds and downstream systems in complex insurance environments.

• Experience architecting solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds and downstream systems in complex insurance environments.

• Experience addressing key architecture concerns (scalability, performance, security, availability, etc.) in the context of Salesforce and ecosystem technologies.

• Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and management skills

• Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Omnistudio or former Vlocity certifications valued).

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of successful Salesforce Industries / Vlocity or Financial Services Cloud implementations.

• Typically 8+ years’ experience in Salesforce or enterprise solution architecture roles, with significant exposure to insurance transformations.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Set yourself apart:

• Pre-sales solution architecture experience (including solution shaping, and delivery estimation and planning) highly valued.

• Show your insurance or financial services industry-specific knowledge and experience leveraging leading Salesforce and ecosystem industry solutions.

• Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect (CTA) and/or Solution Architect certifications recognise your talent

• Active Salesforce community participation and thought leadership highly regarded.

• Experience contributing to architecture standards, accelerators, or industry propositions is highly valued.
