Operating at the intersection of technology delivery and client account management, you will be responsible for driving successful outcomes on high-value Microsoft Power Platform, D365, and AI Copilot programmes while building and developing high-performing delivery teams.

This is a senior individual contributor and people-leadership role within the MBG UK delivery capability, requiring deep technical fluency in Microsoft Power Platform combined with strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management experience, and a track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes for enterprise clients.

As a D365 Architect you will:

  • Lead architecture across D365 applications such as Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement, Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain, as relevant.
  • Define integration, data migration, security and extensibility strategies.
  • Leverage Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure and Microsoft integration services to deliver modern solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership across implementation and transformation programmes.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to Microsoft and enterprise best practices.
  • Lead and mentor technical teams and work closely with functional consultants.
  • Engage with senior client stakeholders and support solution shaping, proposals and pre-sales activities

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary senior point of contact for client stakeholders up to C-suite level, building trusted advisor relationships
  • Lead executive-level steering committees, programme boards, and client workshops
  • Manage client expectations through transparent communication, proactive risk management, and timely escalation
  • Support business development activities including proposition development, bid responses, and solution design for new opportunities
  • Contribute to account growth by identifying and qualifying expansion opportunities within existing engagements

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, mentor, and develop delivery teams of 10–30+ comprising Accenture, Avanade, and client-side resources
  • Define resource plans, manage onboarding, and maintain appropriate team structures across onshore, nearshore, and offshore models
  • Champion a culture of delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and psychological safety within delivery teams
  • Collaborate with Microsoft CSU, ATU, and STU counterparts to align delivery activities with Microsoft account strategy
  • Support capability development across the MBG UK practice through knowledge sharing, coaching, and contribution to internal communities of practice

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Own programme P&L including revenue recognition, margin management, and cost forecasting
  • Manage change control processes including scope management, commercial variations, and contract adherence
  • Contribute to qualified pipeline development in line with MBG UK
  • Ensure compliance with Accenture's contractual, legal, and commercial governance requirements

Technical Oversight

  • Provide architectural oversight and technical governance across Power Platform solution delivery
  • Ensure alignment with Microsoft best practices for Power Platform CoE, ALM, security, and governance
  • Oversee integration design across D365, M365 and third-party systems via Power Platform and custom connectors
  • Champion AI Copilot and Copilot Studio adoption within client engagements, aligned to MBG's AI Copilot go-to-market
  • Maintain awareness of the Microsoft Power Platform roadmap and translate emerging capabilities into client value propositions

Skills that will make you successful in this role:
Delivery & Programme Management

  • Experience of technology delivery on Microsoft Power Platform or D365 programmes
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-workstream programmes for enterprise clients in regulated industries
  • Strong command of both Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and waterfall/hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience managing distributed delivery teams across onshore, nearshore, and offshore models
  • Formal project/programme management certification: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or MSP Practitioner

  • Demonstrated ability to manage commercial relationships, including contract negotiation, change control, and scope management
  • Experience contributing to bid responses, client proposals, and solution architecture documents
  • Strong business acumen with ability to articulate technology ROI and business value to non-technical stakeholders
