Intercompany Finance Transformation Manager
Job Description
Intercompany Finance Transformation ManagerCareer level: Manager (CL7) ·Location: London / Manchester / Edinburgh ·Practice: Finance Reinvention Partner (SAP / BlackLine)About Finance RP
Within Accenture, the Finance Reinvention Partner helps clients improve financial performance around the CFO agenda — driving best-in-class performance, and sharper insight and benchmarking across the enterprise. In the UK and Ireland, our Finance RP practice brings together finance strategy and the platforms it runs on, including SAP, Oracle, Workday and EPM.
You'd join our Platforms transformation offering within the practice: a growing team delivering large-scale, business-led finance transformations across SAP and BlackLine, and building AI into how we deliver. It's a place to go deep on intercompany finance while staying close to the CFO agenda the work serves.
Why this role
This is a role for an intercompany specialist ready to own one of the most complex parts of a finance transformation. You'll lead intercompany design end to end on large-scale finance transformation programmes, in front of the client — across SAP, BlackLine or comparable platforms — becoming the person clients rely on through the close and growing into the intercompany design authority for our work.
Accenture is a leading solutions and services company. Our strategy is to be the reinvention partner of choice for our clients and to lead in the safe, widespread adoption of AI. We bring together our people, deep industry expertise and technology to deliver end-to-end outcomes for clients — and Finance is one of seven Reinvention Partners at the centre of that. Finance RP brings the CFO agenda to life for clients — stronger performance, sharper insight, and better control.
"Our clients want a partner that can help them reinvent—boldly, continuously and at speed… while continuously building the most client-focused, AI-enabled great place to work for our people—our Reinventors." — Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO
What you'll bring
Intercompany expertise. Deep intercompany accounting at scale — cross-company postings, intercompany AR/AP, invoicing, clearing, netting and settlement, and intercompany close and reconciliation. You understand how enterprise structure — company codes, controlling areas, profit centres — shapes intercompany design and reporting, and you can turn transfer-pricing policy into workable finance processes: margin and mark-up logic, and the operational flows behind them.
Platform delivery. You've delivered intercompany on SAP (ICMR — Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation, and RRICB / advanced intercompany billing), on BlackLine (Intercompany Hub, transaction matching, netting), or on comparable finance platforms. Depth on one, with the range to work across others, is what we're after — the platform matters less than the intercompany judgement you bring.
Finance process context. Real Record-to-Report depth around the close, and command of the finance detail intercompany runs through — intercompany AP/AR, non-trade (recharge) invoicing, transfer pricing and eliminations — and a clear view of how it connects to group reporting, consolidation and supply-chain finance.
Leading delivery. You lead the intercompany workstream end to end — fit-to-standard, design, testing and deployment — as the finance design authority for the domain. You manage dependencies with adjacent areas and lead functional teams across onshore and offshore delivery, and you facilitate design and decision workshops with senior finance, tax and treasury stakeholders, keeping delivery on track through structured issue management and decision papers.
Growing the practice. Beyond intercompany, you help grow our Platforms business — supporting proposals and bids, shaping transformation approaches, building reusable assets and points of view, and lending your expertise across client work where it's needed.
Ways of working. We're increasingly an AI-first delivery team — bringing agentic tooling and orchestration into how we design, analyse and deliver, with our people owning the judgement and the outcome. Experience of AI-augmented delivery is a real plus.
Who you are
You take ownership and lead from the front. You build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and coordinate finance, tax and treasury perspectives with confidence. You bring a collaborative leadership style and a value-led mindset — you can link intercompany improvements to a faster close, less reconciliation effort and better performance insight — and you develop the people around you. Good judgement, critical thinking and clear decisions under pressure are second nature.
Things that set strong candidates apart: a track record leading intercompany and transfer-pricing transformation on large-scale, multi-entity or multi-country programmes; the confidence to lead complex design decisions with senior clients; and a professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent industry experience).
If you have most of this and the drive to build the rest, we want to hear from you — tell us what you'd bring.
What's in it for you
Alongside a competitive salary and package (dependent on experience), you'll have an extensive benefits package including 30 days' holiday a year, private medical insurance, and 3 additional days' leave a year for charitable work of your choice.
