About the role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Guidewire Overall Release Lead (Senior Manager) to oversee the end-to-end release management and delivery of Guidewire-based transformation programs. This leadership role is critical in ensuring successful planning, coordination, and execution of releases across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and associated integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire implementations, stakeholder management, and scaled agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall release planning and execution for Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementations.

• Define and manage release schedules, cutover plans, and deployment strategies across multiple workstreams.

• Coordinate with functional leads, technical architects, QA teams, and client stakeholders to ensure readiness and alignment.

• Establish governance frameworks for release management, including risk mitigation, change control, and escalation protocols.

• Drive continuous improvement in release processes, automation, and DevOps enablement.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards during release cycles.

• Act as a single point of contact for release-related communications and reporting to senior leadership.

• Support Guidewire upgrades, cloud transitions, and multi-region deployments.

Job Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in IT delivery with at least 5 years in Guidewire program leadership roles.

• Proven track record of managing large-scale Guidewire releases across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter

• Strong understanding of Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP), integration frameworks, and deployment models.

• Experience in release management, environment strategy, and cutover planning.

• Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience working with London Market insurers and regulatory environments is preferred.
