Job Description

What You'll Do

Client Leadership & Business Development

  • Own a portfolio of client accounts — managing relationships, expanding scope, and ensuring commercial outcomes.
  • Lead origination efforts: listen to, identify and shape new opportunities, drive proposals, and close. Comfortable with £2M+ engagements.
  • Operate at CHRO and Cross C-suite level. Credible. Provocative. Advisory — not just executional.
  • Bring differentiated Accenture propositions to market across our five talent offerings: HR Reinvention, Change & Experience, Talent & Workforce, Enterprise Operating Model, and Leadership Acceleration.
  • Represent Accenture externally — at events, in media, in client briefings. You are part of how the market sees us.

Programme Delivery

  • Accountable for the quality and commercial performance of multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Lead complex, multi-workstream talent transformation programmes — spanning workforce strategy, operating model redesign, HR technology, and agentic AI integration.
  • Bring rigour to how we design and govern work. Own the quality of what goes to clients. Intervene when it's not good enough.
  • Integrate agentic AI, GenAI, and digital workforce tools into programme design — not as a bolt-on, but as a core design and delivery principle.
  • Navigate ambiguity. Most of the interesting problems don't have standard answers.

Practice Building

  • Line manage a team of Senior Managers and Managers. Invest in their development as a primary responsibility, not an afterthought.
  • Contribute to proposition development — building the IP, frameworks, and assets that differentiate our offer in the market.
  • Drive thought leadership: produce points of view, contribute to research, and put Accenture's talent transformation agenda on the map.
  • Play an active role in the talent community of 500+ practitioners across UKI — share knowledge, mentor freely, raise the floor and the ceiling.
  • Support hiring: identify talent, shape the team, help us build the practice we want to work in.

Internal Leadership

  • Contribute to UKI Talent discussions — on strategy, on market positioning, on how we operate.
  • Own your own development. Use the tools available — Workforce Navigator, OMOD Advisor, Synops — and develop genuine AI fluency as a leadership capability.
  • Be the kind of leader people want to work for. That's not optional at this level.
  • Significant consulting experience in talent transformation, workforce strategy, HR operating model design, or a closely adjacent field.
  • A track record of leading and originating complex client engagements at a major consulting firm or relevant advisory or client environment.
  • Experience working at or alongside C-suite, ideally with CHROs or business transformation leads.
  • Evidence of having built and developed high-performing teams.
  • Commercial credibility — comfortable owning revenue targets and navigating the commercial dynamics of large programmes.
