Within Song, our Commerce & AI practice helps organisations design, build, and scale modern digital commerce ecosystems, embedding Generative AI and Agentic AI into commerce to enable real-time personalisation, autonomous merchandising and intelligent customer engagement at scale.

We are entering an exciting era of agentic commerce, where new AI channels, AI agents and enhanced customer experiences are reshaping how people discover, evaluate and buy online. We are looking for leaders who are energised by this shift and want to help define what it means for our clients and for Accenture as the world's largest consultancy.

As a Manager, you will combine deep commerce expertise with emerging AI and agentic commerce knowledge to help shape client strategies, lead transformation programmes and develop high-performing teams. You will play a key role in growing our commerce and AI business, building trusted client relationships and driving innovation both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements focused on digital commerce strategy, commerce transformation and emerging agentic commerce opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and provide strategic guidance on commerce growth, operating models, technology investment and AI adoption.
  • Lead and facilitate executive workshops, discovery sessions and co-creation engagements with cross-functional client teams.
  • Define and shape commerce transformation programmes, including current state assessments, future operating models, target state architectures and implementation roadmaps.
  • Lead the delivery of complex project workstreams, ensuring high-quality outputs, effective team management and successful client outcomes.
  • Apply expertise across commerce technology ecosystems, including commerce platforms, search, merchandising, content and data management technologies, helping clients make platform-agnostic decisions.
  • Champion the adoption of AI tooling across project delivery, leveraging LLMs, agentic platforms and AI-assisted development approaches to improve delivery quality and efficiency.
  • Guide teams in exploring and prototyping emerging agentic commerce concepts, helping clients assess opportunities and accelerate innovation.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal development, client pitches, solution shaping and thought leadership creation.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring and supporting the growth of junior consultants and analysts.
  • Contribute to Accenture's external market presence through thought leadership, industry perspectives and client-facing assets focused on commerce, AI and agentic commerce.

Required Experience:

  • Approximately 7-10 years of professional experience in consulting, ecommerce, digital commerce or commerce transformation roles.
  • Strong experience defining and delivering commerce strategy and transformation programmes for large organisations.
  • Deep understanding of digital commerce ecosystems, including customer journeys, operating models, commercial performance drivers and technology enablement.
  • Experience leading client teams and managing senior stakeholder relationships across business and technology functions.
  • Strong understanding of commerce operations, including trading, merchandising, fulfilment, customer experience and digital performance optimisation.
  • Knowledge of the broader commerce technology landscape, with expertise in one or more areas such as commerce platforms, search and merchandising, customer experience platforms, PIM or content management systems.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the emerging agentic commerce landscape and a clear point of view on how AI agents, AI-native search and conversational commerce will reshape customer experiences.
  • Active use of AI tools, LLMs and agentic platforms to improve personal productivity, project delivery and client outcomes.
  • Experience leading teams, managing project delivery and developing junior talent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience leading commerce strategy, transformation or AI-enabled commerce initiatives for global brands and retailers.
  • Familiarity with emerging agentic commerce concepts, including Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), AI-native discovery, conversational commerce and autonomous buying journeys.
  • Experience with AI, orchestration and agentic development platforms such as Google Gemini, OpenAI Agent SDK, LangGraph, n8n, Microsoft Agent Foundry or AWS Bedrock.
  • Expertise in one or more areas of the commerce technology ecosystem, including: Commerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Commercetools, Shopify, BigCommerce)Search and merchandising (Algolia, Bloomreach, Elasticsearch)Product information management and content platforms (Salsify, Akeneo, Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Experience supporting sales pursuits, proposition development and practice growth activities.
  • Established point of view on the future of AI-driven commerce and the opportunities it presents for brands and retailers.
