Job Description
Job Purpose/summary
This position exists to provide end-to-end daily operational coordination and project support for the MPL product.
Key responsibilities
• Responsible for operational excellence across MPL product family and transport modes to meet customer deliverables
• Partner with commercial,growth enablement, QHSE and procurement to aid in the strategic development of the customer.
• Establish and track goals, metrics, and indicators for success for the MPL project.
• Demonstrate adapability for market fluctuations, supply chain disruptions and customer timelines to meet contractual terms.
• Establish and foster data driven relationships with clients focusing on joint strategic vision and initatives aligned to global MPL growth strategies
• Accountable for the internal implementation of the customer solution, ensuring reporting structure, QHSE requirements and continuous improvement loops embedded in organization
• Effective independent judgment in order to set priorities and work independently.
• Drive operational excellence across teams
• Identify and hold operational leadership accountable to customer program deliverables
• Identify value added solutions for the customer and Maersk
• Represent the account(s) during business implementation and execution, including onboarding of new Maersk product portfolio; collaborating with internal project owners accordingly.
• Responsible for identifying and reducing program operating cost
Required qualification, experience & skills
Bachelor degree or above
At least 6years working experience in international logistics
Extensive executional experience across all transport modes; ocean/air/rail/truck/barge to include OOG cargo.
Past project management
Customer facing engagements and presentations
Strong ability to facilitate cross-functional decision-making across regions, product(s), and internal stake-holders
Strong communication skills
Fluency in both Mandarin and English
