Job Description

Digital Marketing & Media Specialist

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our Marketing team sits at the heart of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we connect with consumers, restaurants, and riders across Italy. We are looking for a hands-on brand builder who thrives on experimentation and data to help us win in one of the world's most exciting food markets.

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing & Media Specialist based in Italy. Reporting to the Senior Brand & Media Manager, you will be a key driver in planning and optimizing multi-channel campaigns that fuel our growth.

Get to know our Commercial and Marketing teams — what drives us and how we work.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will act as a bridge between local strategy and global execution, ensuring our digital presence is effective, localized, and high-performing.

  • Digital Media Planning: Support budget allocation and goal setting, working closely with our local media agency and global performance teams to maximize efficiency.

  • Media Strategy Execution: Implement multi-channel strategies across paid social, search, and display. You will be expected to proactively lead tests and fine-tune campaigns for continuous growth.

  • Creative Coordination: Brief and provide feedback to local and global brand teams to ensure creative assets are localized, high-impact, and aligned with campaign goals.

  • SEO Stewardship: Act as the local Point of Contact for our central SEO team, monitoring performance and ensuring our organic visibility remains top-tier in the Italian market.

  • Measurement & Optimization: Partner with BI and Data Science teams to deep-dive into performance data, identifying actionable insights and measuring the true impact of our marketing spend.

  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate seamlessly between external agencies and internal cross-functional teams to keep complex projects on track.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who balances analytical rigor with creative curiosity:

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years in digital marketing or media planning (either agency or in-house).

  • Technical Mastery: Solid hands-on experience managing complex accounts within Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and TikTok Business Center.

  • Full-Funnel Expertise: Experience with Google P-Max and structured A/B testing is a significant plus.

  • Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to interpret data and translate it into commercial decisions.

  • Local Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Italian media landscape and consumer behavior.

  • Communication: Fluency in English and Italian is essential for success in our international environment.

Why Join Us?

At Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a marketplace that’s constantly evolving. Working here you can expect to:

  • 🔧 Make a visible impact every day: Your campaigns directly influence how millions of Italians discover and enjoy food.

  • 🌱 Learn and Grow: Access to world-class performance marketing tools and a culture that encourages autonomy.

  • 🌎 Global Scale, Local Heart: Work for a global technology leader while making an impact in your local neighbourhood.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

At Deliveroo, we know that a great workplace reflects the world around us and that true diversity and inclusion make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. We’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work and feel they belong.
