Role Overview

Looking for an experienced Executive operation to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall deliverance

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments

Assigning works of daily planned activities of Warehouse.

Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy

Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods

Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance

Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy

Communicate job expectations and coach employees

Determine staffing levels and assign workload

Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems

Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status

Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained

Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery

Required Experience & Skills

Clear knowledge of warehouse operations

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Management skills

Leadership and organizational skills to run the warehouse efficiently

Proficiency in inventory and/or invoice software

Ability to remain stationed for extended periods when working on the warehouse floor.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Finance, or related field

MBA or equivalent (preferred but not always mandatory)
