Job Description

Overview

You are part of the Production Delivery team composed with various jobs: production, video editing, filmmaking and photo editing. Our mission statement is to produce qualitative videos and photos for our client’s showcases and actively participate to their satisfaction.

As a Video Project Filmmaker, you will be in charge of the shooting of corporate films and the realization of transversal communication videos for the Customer Delivery team. You will be in charge of the planning and filming of a format portfolio.

You will be responsible for the technical organization of shoots and the smooth running of films: from pre-production to the delivery of the final version.

Responsibilities

In this context, your main responsibilities are the following:

  • Produce corporate films and cross-functional videos (internal and external communication for our teams)

  • Ensure the technical follow-up associated with filming hand to hand with freelancers

  • Supervise the editorial and technical follow-up of the editing process with the external editors and your teammates

  • Writing scripts and shooting lists to create a video production plan

  • Be proactive and find solutions to improve the shooting process and to create new video formats

  • Follow your administrative expenses related to the production of the films

Preferred experience

At Welcome to the Jungle, we are all coming from (really) different backgrounds, that’s our main strength!

  • You understand and master the entire film production workflow (from pre-production to film delivery) and you know how to coordinate a team on targeted projects: filming, filming organization, video production, editing follow-up.

  • You know how to carry out projects autonomously on your scope with a full awareness of deadlines.

  • You have good knowledge of the internal organization and processes of the different teams.

  • You stay up-to-date on the latest video production trends and technologies, and make recommendations on how to incorporate them into the company’s workflow.

  • You are able to build a coherent and concise speech on contents.

  • You have good knowledge of the direction process, which entails both the capacity to review footage from each shoot to identify issues related to lighting, sound, or camera angles that require correction, as well as the skill to collaborate closely with other team members, such as operators, photographers, and clients, ensuring seamless coordination and the timely execution of tasks.

  • You are fluent in both French and English.

Welcome to the Jungle is dedicated to fostering a positive social impact and places significant emphasis on upholding diversity, inclusion, and equity. Each application will be treated with fairness, considering the skills and motivations of every individual.
