Job Description

Role Purpose:

To support Vodafone’s key strategic growth areas in Testing Function which requires a highly capable and passionate resources for specialized domains as Digital, IoT and Cloud Transformation.
Test Engineer will be required to perform and execute testing services as per the agreed strategy and test plan through innovative and efficient practices.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Review customer requirements
• Develop and design test cases based on customer requirements
• Review and update test cases
• Construct and prepare test datasets
• Execute the software based on the plans and test documents
• Create execution records and update the status according to the results
• Report defects whenever they occur, track and monitor them
• Retest defects when they are resolved
• Execute regression buckets
• Joins Testing initiatives for specialization

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• 1-4 Years working in Testing
• Very good understanding of theories and procedures about Software Testing
• Working experience with web / App / applications technology
• Basic knowledge of database administration
• Knowledge With API Testing
• Working experience in dealing with industry test management tools
• Experience in the following test management tools is a plus
o HP ALM

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing is a must
• Agile testing knowledge is a plus
• Jira knowledge is a plus
• Appium knowledge is required
• AWS Knowledge is a plus
• BBD Language is a plus
• Good understanding of DDT methodologies.
• Familiar with CI/CD Pipelines is a plus
