Job Description

Your day to day:

As an IoT Presales Solution Lead, you will spearhead consultative expertise in technical design and delivery, driving Vodafone's managed connectivity and IoT solutions.

This is a customer-facing role, where you will leverage your technical acumen and strategic thinking to deliver end-to-end IoT solutions tailored to enterprise customer needs across diverse industries and applications.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Solution Leadership: Lead the design and delivery of technical and service solutions for enterprise customers, ensuring alignment with Vodafone’s IoT and managed connectivity portfolios.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with regional Technical Sales Leads to qualify sales leads and support pre-sales activities.
  • Technical Assessment: Evaluate solution complexity, feasibility, and integration within Vodafone’s IoT platforms and network capabilities at both global and regional levels.
  • Sales Support: Contribute throughout the sales cycle, from pre-sales and qualification to RFP/bid responses, contract sign-up, deployment, and customer acceptance.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation that aligns with customer requirements and Vodafone capabilities, ensuring solution approval.
  • Proposal Development: Deliver clear, persuasive responses to RFIs and RFPs to secure successful bid outcomes.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of 3GPP, LPWAN, and satellite radio technologies, with a focus on IoT applications.
  • Fundamental understanding of data communication, network infrastructure, and IT technologies.
  • Proven experience in a technical or pre-sales role, demonstrating strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands.
  • International exposure with strong cultural awareness.
