Hello there! We’re Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (also known as _VOIS) and we’re looking for a
Planning Solutions Business Partner
Your role in a nutshell:
The Planning Solutions team is primarily responsible for the maintenance and development of financial planning solutions across the Group functions and Local markets. The Integrated Planning suite currently contains a variety of On-Premise integrated planning applications and additional Cloud based Planning solutions.
The purpose for Financial Planning Business Partner role, is to support and maintain the various applications and ensure that users in Group functions and local markets are fully prepared and supported in their planning needs in respect of Rolling Forecast, 9+15 and Long Range Plan processes. In addition, the role will manage the definition & delivery of enhanced functionality and new requirements, identified by users for existing applications, via change requests.
What you will do in your role:
- Act as the prime Point of Contact for a selection of Group function and local market users throughout the key planning processes (Rolling Forecast and 9+15 submissions)
- Lead the development, delivery, training and support of new functionality ensuring alignment and compliance to programme guidelines, principles and objectives.
- Problem solving and management of user issues, risks and dependencies in relation to application and processes.
- Provide support and training for users, helping to overcome barriers and developing on-site resources to encourage self-sufficiency
- Develop and maintain reports
- Manage user access requests and security profile configuration for the applications
- Co-ordinate and manage successful completion of UAT activities for change requests with Group Functions and local Markets
- Timely delivery against plans, meeting key deadlines and UAT thresholds.
- Local Market adoption of the Cloud and Rolling Forecast solutions
- Positive NPS scoring from local market partners and respected as a ‘go to’ person.
- Proactive management and closure of issues and risks.
What will you bring to the team:
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- University / College degree in Finance / Economics / Business Data Analysis
- 5+ years’ experience in Controlling/Financial Reporting/ Financial Data Management at a multinational company
- Fluency in English
- Strong Excel knowledge (functions, formulas is a must)
- Oracle Hyperion and OBIEE knowledge is an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude
- Hands on Financial Planning and Financial Systems experience is an advantage
