Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Enablement Manager to join out Technology Transformation function. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and integration of various platforms and services across the OSS landscape including private and public cloud implementations.

Your responsibilities will span cloud enablement, security and privacy assessments, middleware enablement, technical stakeholder management, platform integration, and managing 3rd-party API/integration requests. Advocate and work toward a shift left approach so platform delivery teams can self-serve.

You will work closely with the Platforms delivery teams and Platform Owners enabling both technical Lifecycle Management and timely delivery of capabilities across our entire estate.

Key responsibilities

  • Cloud Enablement and Connectivity: You will also be tasked with the implementation of comprehensive cloud enablement strategies covering both private and public cloud environments.
  • You will oversee the establishment and maintenance of private and public connectivity, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Security and Privacy Assurance: Collaborate with security and privacy teams to drive the assessment and security of platform deployments, obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Middleware Enablement: Drive the enablement of critical middleware components essential for product and platform operation.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with technical collaborators, both internal and external, ensuring alignment and effective communication. Integration and Third-Party Management: Lead efforts to integrate various platforms and services, promoting streamlined processes and secure third-party API integrations.

The must haves

  • Good understanding of cloud technologies, with a solid grasp of security and privacy principles.
  • Understanding of Virtualisation and Containerisation technologies
  • Understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash or similar
  • Understanding of CI/CD and DevSecOps delivery methods Knowledge of Telco OSS and its capabilities.

The other stuff we are looking for

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including the ability to accommodate changing requirements throughout the development process
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Sound understanding of Networking Technologies and Security
  • Knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systemsUnderstanding of machine to machine communication
