Job Description

Calling all Change Champions and ER Enthusiasts! As the go-to expert for our People and Transformation Team, you’ll be the sage of employee relations and the architect of change. You’ll team up with Business Leaders, People Partners, and the Org Design Crew, sprinkling your specialist know-how over every phase of the change process—from scoping to flawless execution. Challenge the status quo? Absolutely. Your mission: foster a culture that treats Change and ER expertise like gold, fuelling our business goals with passionate brilliance.

You’ll be the watchful eye on all change, spotting opportunities across the whole of VMO2. Join forces with the Org Design team and COEs to ensure our people strategy aligns with the business’s north star. And at every step, you’ll be the inclusion advocate, championing the beauty of human difference and showing why it’s not just good ethics—it’s good business.

Let’s motivate change, challenge smartly, and celebrate our differences every step of the way!

  • Extensive knowledge of ER/IR structures, People policies, and processes, as well as industry standard methodologies and the latest thinking in commercially viable employment practices.
  • Proficient in achieving impactful results within a matrixed organisation and across both unionised and non-unionised settings.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple initiatives concurrently, adhering to strict timelines and maintaining consistent follow-through.
  • Strong grounding in employment law and extensive familiarity with HR standard methodologies related to Change and Employee Relations.
  • Experienced in successfully collaborating with employee representatives, forums, and trade unions.
  • Full CIPD membership and professional qualification (or equivalent business credential).

The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Experience working in an agile environment, with a foundational understanding of Agile methodologies and a readiness to learn and adapt.
