Job Description

Are you ready to lead the charge in fortifying our digital defences while orchestrating sophisticated projects like a maestro? As the Security Roadmap Leader, your mission is to ensure our security initiatives not only hit every mark but do so with flair!

You’ll be at the helm of large, multifaceted programmes, guiding them from concept to delivery, keeping an eagle eye on every governance checkpoint and critical metric. Think of yourself as the grand conductor of security strategy, collaborating with everyone from the Build Team to the CIO and CTO.

Your role? To be the go-to functional lead for all things' security, while engaging with analysts, project managers, and design leads. Oh, and you’ll also be prepping top-notch presentations that make governance and investment committees take notice.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • A deep understanding of Cyber Security standard methodologies and controls, with practical experience in delivering NIST Framework (or similar) controls in real-world scenarios.
  • Well-rounded expertise in all aspects of security, with a solid grasp of how these are applied in real business settings, while balancing the vital levels of control to align with the company’s operating environment and risk tolerance.
  • Exceptional project and programme leadership skills, with the ability to assess situations, weigh the importance and risks, and make thoughtful, timely decisions that are in the best interest of the organisation.
  • Comfortable multitasking, switching seamlessly between tasks, and viewing projects from various perspectives simultaneously.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate positive relationships, delegate responsibilities clearly, provide constructive feedback, and offer support and encouragement. Naturally empowers the team and fosters an environment of mutual respect, ensuring a focus on delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Validated experience in leading and coordinating multiple sophisticated tasks with ease.

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Superb communication skills, with the ability to communicate, both written and verbal, across all areas of VMO2.
  • Good partner management and influencing skills across all levels of business.
  • Command of data analysis and interpretation
  • Good knowledge of security regulatory standards like ISO27001, PCI-DSS and the Telecoms Security Requirements
