Job Description

This is a 12 Month FTC, Tuesday and Wednesday working in our Leeds or Sheffield Office.

Virgin Media O2 is looking for an Order Support Specialist, a maestro behind customer orders who orchestrate the seamless process to ensure the timely delivery of the right products and services to our existing customers!

This involves receiving and processing orders while actively communicating with customers on various business functions to ensure all necessary information both contractual and non-contractual is gathered.

Their role is not just about order processing but also ensuring that everything runs smoothly from the customer's initial request to delivery.

Supporting Virgin Media O2 direct business you will ensure all governance and business rules are strictly followed placing orders accurately into the relevant systems.

Above all, you will be a champion of excellent customer service adept at resolving any issues that may arise efficiently.

The must haves

n order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Demonstrate strong customer focus and comprehensive business knowledge of VM02 products and services including mobile voice and data connectivity
  • Proven sales and commercial business insight
  • Excellent attention to detail and dedication to data integrity with a ‘right first time’ approach
  • Ability to effectively read and understand order forms and contracts with the ability to translate this information accurately throughout the order journey
  • Analytical approach, to effectively interrogate and analyse data
  • Influence others without direct management authority including both external and internal customers
  • Adept at building rapport and encouraging positive relationships with internal partners and customers.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a track record of effectively interacting with internal partners at all levels
  • High level of IT literacy with knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications Internet applications and business systems (e.g., SFDC).
  • Microsoft Office administration experience or previous sales support/ order entry experience preferably within a telecommunication or IT sector.
  • There is an expectation to be in the office when required but with a minimum of 2 days a week in either Leeds or Sheffield sites.
