Job Description
An exciting new opportunity for an Investment Manager here at Virgin Media O2. The role will report into the Director of Capital Management. This role sits within the Capital Management team who are responsible for, Capital Management and Capex FP&A
As a senior member of the team you will lead on Capital Management including owning the investment committee process and related governance. You will contribute to all areas of the team’s responsibilities incl. training and managing more junior team members.
The successful candidate will join us at an exciting time as we reset our approach to capital management in 2024 making our approach more data led and more closely aligned with company strategy. They will be key to our success!

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- Provide effective challenge to ‘asks’, to extract optionality and ensure data driven decision making.
- Ability to step back and look at the big picture to identify unusual trends or areas of focus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills and ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience of owning and prioritising workstreams. Lead on the monthly capex reporting requirements, partnering with the Financial Control team and Business Areas to ensure accurate and timely close out of monthly actuals.
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- Proven experience leading a team.
- Experience of demand management processes.
- Experience of CapEx FP&A.
- Telecoms/Consumer subscription industry experience
- Investment and / or strategy experience.
