Job Description

As the Head of Digital Product and AI eCommerce, you will be responsible in driving the Web/App Product and AI eCommerce (Web/App) Capabilities strategy and lead teams within the Fixed eCommerce Acquisition Team. Your primary objective will be to create a class-leading web/app customer experience by leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making, prioritize initiatives, and manage the delivery of key commercial, eCommerce product, and AI (in domains of GenAI and classic AI) Web/App projects. You will ensure that the team is data-driven and proactively seeks improvement opportunities, future capabilities, AI web & app rollout, acceleration/adoption, and innovation within the Digital Web & App Acquisition Sales journey of Virgin Media O2 platforms while validating the effectiveness of planned business changes and assessing their impact on the overall experience. The must haves .In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • 8+ years of experience leading high-performing eCommerce Tribes (Web and/or App) with a strong focus on Product and Core Capabilities and commercial acumen
  • Proven experience in the inception, development, and launch of AI and GenAI features and capabilities in Web and/or App
  • Solid hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms and Product Catalogues
  • Hands-on experience building and managing high-velocity squads within an Agile environment
  • Demonstrable experience leading Digital Web and App product best practices, with a strong emphasis on data, analytics, conversion funnels, and revenue optimisation
  • Solid track record of creating end-to-end strategies, visions, and execution plans for eCommerce and AI
  • Effective leadership skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and develop staff at all levels and build a team of consistently high-performing superstars

The other stuff we are looking for .We'd also love you to bring;

  • Act as the eCommerce business lead for VMO2 web & app acquisition eCommerce Product and AI Web/App capabilities
  • Lead the Digital Acquisition Product roadmap across Web and App channels responsible for the end-to-end product experience and AI features
  • Use case identification: Work closely with various business units and stakeholders to identify and scope potential use cases for generative AI within the organization.
  • Create and deliver a robust product and eCommerce AI strategy covering the full spectrum of the digital (app/web) journey (Content, Trading, Checkout, Personalisation)
  • Own the Digital Payments Strategy and its penetration across Web and App channels including Alternative Payment Methods, Open Banking
  • Inspire, motivate and develop all Digital Product Squad to achieve outstanding performance and deliver Product and AI OKRs
  • Create and manage the product and AI eCommerce development and implementation of key strategic and tactical business initiatives with the wider Fixed eCommerce Acquisition team.
  • Oversee co-ordination with the wider eCommerce structure, including content & ops, CRO and Experimentation, capability squads to ensure a clear end-to-end journey
  • Own the design and delivery of External Demand projects from wider Consumer Organization to Web and App acquisition channels
  • Ensure that roadmaps, plans and team OKRs are documented and shared with relevant teams, so cross dependencies and blockers are identified and solved before delivering against key priorities.
  • Share results on key test performance with Digital Sales and Commercial Teams
