Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Manager to coordinate and drive the commercial operations and build strong relationships within our Wholesale Partners division here at Virgin Media O2.
Managing a portfolio of partners, the Commercial Manager will support the Commercial Lead to implement the commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, strengthen partner relationships, and ensure mutual success.
The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial and contract management, ability to negotiate and influence both internal and external customers, excellent analytical skills, and the drive to develop and execute strategies that enhance business performance.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- A consistent track record and understanding of commercial principles encompassing key business concepts such as profit margins, pricing strategies, market dynamics, and the cost-benefit analysis of business decisions.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with expertise in analysing raw data, uncovering key insights, identifying patterns, and simplifying complex information into a clear, compelling narrative.
- Demonstrated experience in a dynamic trading environment, with regular input into near and long-term financial plans, identifying growth opportunities, and support the mitigation of risks.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with experience of successfully concluding a contract negotiation.
- Consistent record of actively listening to Customers/Partners and gathering feedback to gain insights into their preferences, struggles, and expectations, engaging with customers beyond individual transactions, maintaining regular communication, and providing the right support to nurture relationships.
