Job Description
We are excited to share a dynamic position where the successful candidate will be directly involved in solving complex contract terms and contributing significantly to the >£1billion revenue for this VMO2 business area!
This role is an important cog to keep the "Smart" in Smart Meters; connecting the energy usage of over 9 million homes and businesses with the ongoing sustainability goals of the UK government. How will that happen?
Identifying and resolving obstacles with contracts and suppliers whilst reviewing and maximising the full commercial potential of our agreements with the aim of reducing costs and growing revenue.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Robust commercial savviness with a strong awareness of how to mutually get the best of out contractual obligations for the business
- End to end contract management and showcasing competence with negotiations change & variation, terminations, drafting, and disputes
- Being able to maximise commercial opportunities and have oversight on large scale contracts up to the value of £20m
- Ensuring delivery of contracts with proactive and effective management of all collaborators and suppliers involved
- Prior experience that you can lean on in any industry where full management of contracts, costs & savings, delivery and commercials were under your scope
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- Commercial nous with high attention to detail to maximise contractual opportunities for revenue increases and costs savings
- Strong partner management and communication with the ability to present findings and propose solutions at SLT level
- Experience or knowledge within Telecommunications, Public-sector, IT or Infrastructure but this is not a must
