As Asset & Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining information about Configuration Items (CIs) required to deliver lifecycle support for Managed Security and Managed Network Services. To this end you will maintain a logical model containing the hardware and software components of the infrastructure, their owners, and their associations. You will be responsible for maturing, maintaining, and communicating a governance process in order to cultivate inventory across multiple environments at full accuracy, as well as auditing the current inventory to identify any gaps and addressing as needed. This resource will also be responsible for establishing auto discovery jobs to pull data into the inventory application from multiple sources, and collaborating with asset owners and technical teams to troubleshoot connectivity or authentication issues as they arise. You will also be required to develop discrepancy reporting across multiple systems and tools in order to determine where gaps reside in the larger environment. Along with this you will govern and support the remediation efforts of identified discrepancies. As the Asset and Inventory Manager will be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and proactively addressing any roadblocks. This resource will be responsible for producing scheduled reports to communicate current inventory status, including end of life and end of support information, for budgeting and vulnerability management purposes. This position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
Position responsibilities include the establishment, ownership and governance of the inventory management process; collecting, auditing and maintaining asset data for each data center location, and the creation, dissemination, and organizational review of weekly/monthly/quarterly inventory reports.
Audit and update inventory database; coordinate with asset owners to ensure database completeness and accuracy
Maintain up-to-date inventory database
Produce inventory reports as needed for all levels of the organization
Lead all Asset Inventory Governance activities
Ensure all devices include accurate end of life and end of support information
Ensure inventory accuracy across all systems and platforms. If gaps arise identify develop a plan of action and lead remediation efforts
Assist in conducting comprehensive physical inventory audits across data centers globally
You’ll need to have:
Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
At least one year of experience with Device42 and ServiceNOW
At least one year of OSS experience
Background in telecommunications or similar industry
Top Secret Security Clearance.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience working with technical teams
Excellent communication skills, with both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent abilities in coordinating projects across multiple organizations.
Advanced knowledge of MS office applications.
Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $96,000.00 and $179,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
