Your role as a Trainee - Database Marketing

For our Customer Experience Team, we are looking for a Database Marketeer with analytical skills. The database marketeer will help retain existing customers together with the customer experience specialists and communication specialists.

As a Database Marketeer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that is jointly responsible for running (micro)segmented campaigns. In your role, you will perform selections, tests and data analyses for marketing campaigns for all channels. You ensure that the right customer is selected, approached with the right message, at the right time and through the right channel. You use triggers and behavior from various channels to achieve this. You advise proactively based on the data on commercial issues and optimization opportunities of campaigns.

In addition, as a database marketeer, you are connected to the other database marketeers to guarantee quality, learn together and share best practices

Your responsibilities include:

  • Making data analyses; Which target group can we best approach through which channel for a particular proposition;
  • Creating and executing data selections for marketing campaigns by building campaign flows;
  • Testing campaigns and new propositions;
  • Finding opportunities from the data to improve the results of the marketing campaign;
  • Create reports for the management.

Qualifications

Your qualifications as a Trainee - Database Marketing

To succeed in this position, we are looking for individuals who possess both the professional and personal skills to thrive in a dynamic, global environment.

Below are the key qualifications we seek:

  • You are a recent graduate or final-year student with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • You have basic knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SQL) and are eager to learn more about marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Marketing Cloud).
  • Excellent Dutch communication skills (spoken and written).

You should also recognize yourself in:

  • Analytical skills: You enjoy diving into data, spotting trends, and translating insights into concrete actions.
  • Being a great teamplayer: You thrive in a collaborative environment and love exchanging ideas to achieve the best results together.

To be considered for our traineeship, we are looking for candidates who should:

  • Be a recent graduate with an academic degree or expected graduation before September 2025.
  • Have maximum one year of work experience after completing your most recent degree. Interns and student jobs will not be considered.
  • Be fluent in English. Skills in other languages can be a merit.
  • Be willing to travel regularly and relocate for short rotations within our organization.
