This traineeship offers you a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in sustainable business. Your role as a Trainee - Asset Management

As a trainee Graduate Asset Manager within the Offshore BU here at Vattenfall you will play a critical role in ensuring our offshore assets on a daily basis recognise their full potential. This role is critical in ensuring mid to long term value is recognised through actively manage risk and opportunity. This is fundamentally a commercial focused role that will expose you to many complex matters that offshore wind has to offer and serves as one of the best places within offshore wind to start your career.

By ensuring the assets are operating as efficiently as they can and ensuring the investment of these assets are bringing the best return for both internal and JV partners we ensure long term sustainability of offshore wind as a vital part of zero carbon infrastructure.

Your responsibilities as an Asset Manager will include:

  • Preparation of business cases with risk-reward analyses for conscious decision making for the offshore fleet;
  • Prepare decision material for presentation to management;
  • Closely monitor the risks (threats and opportunities) performance, and costs of the BU offshore fleet and ensure progress of mitigation
  • Assist with the implementation of the asset management plans for the fleet to end of life and will form the basis of the business plan for BU Offshore
  • Compilation and preparation of reports to investors on risks including asset integrity and commercial topics and follow up internally to ensure good service to our partners
  • Development of a commitments overview for the offshore assets under management

Qualifications

Your qualifications as a Trainee - Asset Management

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Finance, Law, Business or a related discipline;
  • Ability to understand technical issues, and develop a commercial mindset;
  • Command of English is strong, both verbally and written.

To be considered for our traineeship, you should:

  • Be a recent graduate with an academic degree or expected graduation before March 2025.
  • Have maximum one year of work experience.
  • Be fluent in English. Skills in other languages can be a merit.
  • Be willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization.
