Are you the manager with a strategic view and who is eager to grow his people management skills?As our Head of Sourcing Management - Onshore you are part of the Procurement Wind leadership team and responsible for leading the Onshore Sourcing Management team.

What will you do?
The overall objective as Head of Sourcing Management - Onshore is to secure the supply and negotiate for best value for money contracts. You will be responsible for creating and executing the Procurement strategy as well as executing the Project Procurement strategy. As a leader, you are expected to lead your team with vision and foster a culture of inclusiveness and empower as well. And coach your team to excel which is fully aligned with the procurement organization as well as with Wind organization. The team consists of 13-15 FTE’s .

Your main focus will be:

• Build a clear vision for the team to efficiently and consistently prioritize across a wide range of requests.
• Work in close cooperation with the other teams in wind procurement and the BU Onshore to ensure full alignment of procurement strategies, as well as that the wind procurement team meets its KPIs.
• Ensure that purchases are sourced and delivered at best total cost of ownership available to Vattenfall on the supplier market.
• Align with other procurement teams in other Business Area's (BA) to extract maximum value from joint bundling of volumes, cross BA category management and cross BA supplier management
• Steering project procurement strategies, ensuring bespoke sourcing processes are efficiently managed and executed.
• Build and communicate a clear vision for the offshore sourcing management teams
• Oversee tender structures to facilitate transparent and fair supplier selection and evaluation processes..

Kolding, Amsterdam, Solna, Hamburg or London.

Qualifications

Who are you?
We are looking for a Head of Sourcing Management - Onshore who has a relevant academic degree (or equal), relevant work experience in a similar position. You have a successful leadership track record in managing teams in constant changing and challenging environments. Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written.

Your personal characteristics:

As our Head of Sourcing Management - Onshore you obviously portrait our Active, open and positive leadership style. You act with integrity and have experience in driving and leading change.

Next to this you have:

• Resilient and dependable personality with high motivation, flexibility, humour, empathy and drive
• Strong team approach with very good intercultural skills and people orientation
• Aptitude to build and manage relationships across a diverse company
• Ability to work in large and complex organisations and to handle internal and external interfaces effectively
• Solid expertise in European energy market, Procurement processes and preferably onshore business
• Courage to speak up and embrace challenges with a drive to seek value-adding solutions
• Very strong analytical skills and a didactical talent to abstract complex matters into impactful communication suitable for an executive audience
