The purpose of Business Unit (BU) Controlling is to provide the Director of Controlling and Commercials Solar & Batteries (SoBa) and the BU SoBa Management Team with insights in BU SoBa performance to drive excellent business decisions for BU SoBa product lines and legal entities.

Your tasks & responsibilities

  • Responsible manager for the Controlling department within BU Controlling SoBa incl. steering of five employees
  • Responsible to organize and facilitate reporting, forecasting and business planning process for BU SoBa.
  • Being interface to BA Wind Central Controlling to support and align reporting duties towards Vattenfall Group
  • Organize interface towards central PBI team to ensure data quality and data stability
  • Organize interface to and take part in “Next Gen ERP” – project from a SoBa perspective
  • Drive improvement projects (e.g. SPOT) in cooperation with respective controllers / stakeholders
  • Act as a project controller in peak times and take over one / two major projects.
  • Take over controlling tasks for special projects / topics

Location: The role will be based in one of BA Wind’s main locations in Hamburg (Germany), Berlin (Germany) or Amsterdam (Netherlands). Regular travel will be required to other Vattenfall offices.

Qualifications

Your profile

As our Head of Controlling Solar & Battery you will bring

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance
  • 0-3 years of experience in managerial positions
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Finance/Controlling
  • Specific Skills/Knowledge needed in Controlling

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing (English)
  • You are a highly motivated and communicative leader who is able to engage stakeholders and focus on both people and business
  • You are a strong team player, with the ability to influence over a wide network of co-worker relationships
  • You are able to identify process improvements and lead them through to implementation
  • You possess the ability to prioritize and coordinate work in a multitask environment with a hands-on, pragmatic and pro-active mind set.
  • Your strong ability to structure, analyse and interpret financial and commercial issues, as well as to present information in a clear and concise format rounds up your profile
