Job Description

Location: Hybrid. Our preference is for candidates to be based in New York, with one team day per week in our Meatpacking District office. However, we’re open to remote candidates in the East or Midwest, with a quarterly visit to our NY HQ for the right candidate.

Unmind is the leading workplace wellbeing platform, on a mission to create mentally healthy workplaces where employees can flourish.

Grounded in science and built for enterprise, we drive people-first performance at some of the world’s biggest brands, including Uber, Major League Baseball, NHS, Disney, Standard Chartered, Mediacom and British Airways.

Our services support the whole organisation with data-driven performance insights for leaders, training for managers, wellbeing tools for all employees, as well as access to a global network of accredited mental health practitioners.

Our internal standards are as high as those of our clients. We’re an ambitious VC backed software business on the exhilarating 10-100M phase of our growth journey. It’s hard and rewarding work and we’re determined to be our very best case study along the way.

Unmind believe high performance will hinge on the powerful harmony between our relentless drive for results and creating an environment that elevates our people's wellbeing. This wouldn’t be possible without a dedication to our core values:

  • Be Human

  • Grow Your Mind

  • Innovate at Speed

  • Inspire & Impact

Our DEI commitment

We strive to build a workplace that celebrates our differences, where every Unminder feels included, equal, seen and heard. This is true regardless of your age, race, gender identity, religion or belief, marital or parental status, disability, neurodiversity, or sexual orientation.

We’re proud of our culture, but not smug. So if there’s anything we can do to make the hiring process more accessible, just let us know when you apply, or email talent@unmind.com.

The Role – Product Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our team and help shape the future of how we communicate the value of our products to the world. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you’ll play a crucial role in driving the strategy and execution of go-to-market initiatives, partnering closely with product, sales, and design teams to bring thoughtful, impactful storytelling to life. Your work will be pivotal in driving adoption, enabling our sales teams, and amplifying our voice in a competitive market.

This is an opportunity to join a team that thrives on curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, while working on a product that empowers people and drives meaningful change.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute Go-to-market strategies: Support the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for product launches and feature updates, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Tell the Story: Assist in developing clear and compelling product positioning, messaging, and narratives that communicate the value of offerings to target audiences.

  • Create Tools That Empower: Create marketing materials, sales assets, and customer-facing content to drive product awareness and adoption.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution across the board.

  • Understand the Landscape: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities and inform both product and marketing decisions.

  • Fuel Customer Adoption: Champion initiatives that drive engagement, build community, and foster lasting relationships with our users.

Skills and Experience

We encourage you to remove education from your CV upon application as qualifications are not a driving factor in our decision making and we are committed to tackling educational inequality. We firmly believe that no one is the finished article and that there should be learning in every role you do. However, some experience in the following is important for this position:

  • Effective Communicator: You can craft clear and impactful messaging that resonates with diverse audiences.

  • Experienced and Insightful: With 4+ years of experience in product marketing, you’ve successfully led go-to-market strategies and supported sales teams in achieving their goals.

  • Collaborative by Nature: You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships across departments.

  • Analytically Curious: Data informs your decisions, but intuition and creativity drive your approach.

  • Detail-Oriented: You sweat the small stuff, ensuring every piece of content and strategy is thoughtfully crafted.

  • Design-Savvy: You have an eye for design and understand what looks good when creating assets and content, ensuring all materials are visually appealing and on-brand.

  • CRM Fluent: Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems is a core strength, and you leverage these tools effectively to drive results.

Passionate About Impact:

Whether it’s mental health or another mission close to your heart, you’re motivated by work that matters.
