Job Description
Unmind is the leading workplace wellbeing platform, on a mission to create mentally healthy workplaces where employees can flourish.
Grounded in science and built for enterprise, we drive people-first performance at some of the world’s biggest brands, including Uber, Major League Baseball, NHS, Disney, Standard Chartered, Mediacom and British Airways.
Our services support the whole organization with data-driven performance insights for leaders, training for managers, wellbeing tools for all employees, as well as access to a global network of accredited mental health practitioners.
Our internal standards are as high as those of our clients. We’re an ambitious VC backed software business on the exhilarating 10-100M phase of our growth journey. It’s hard and rewarding work and we’re determined to be our very best case study along the way.
Unmind believe high performance will hinge on the powerful harmony between our relentless drive for results and creating an environment that elevates our people's wellbeing. This wouldn’t be possible without a dedication to our core values:
Be Human
Grow Your Mind
Innovate at Speed
Inspire & Impact

We’re proud of our culture, but not smug. So if there’s anything we can do to make the hiring process more accessible, just let us know when you apply, or email talent@unmind.com.
The Role – Director of Consultant Relations
As the Director of Consultant Relations, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strategic relationships with key consultants, brokers, and industry advisors within the mental health and benefits space. You will act as the voice of Unmind, positioning our solutions as the premier choice for workplace mental health, and driving growth through partnership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain relationships with brokers, consultants, and advisors who influence the employee benefits landscape. Position Unmind as the go-to solution for workplace mental health.
Market Advocacy: Serve as the face of Unmind in the consultant and broker ecosystem, attending industry events, participating in panels, and leveraging thought leadership to promote Unmind’s mission and solutions.
Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to identify and support opportunities driven by consultant recommendations. Provide insights and training to internal teams to maximize the impact of consultant relationships.
Collaborative Partnerships: Develop co-marketing initiatives, events, and educational resources in collaboration with consultants and brokers to highlight the value of mental health benefits.
Data and Insight Sharing: Act as a conduit between consultants and Unmind’s product and marketing teams. Gather feedback from the field to help refine Unmind’s offerings and ensure alignment with market needs.
Performance Tracking: Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of consultant and broker relationships, regularly reporting on their contribution to revenue growth and brand presence.
Skills and Experience
We encourage you to remove education from your CV upon application as qualifications are not a driving factor in our decision making and we are committed to tackling educational inequality. We firmly believe that no one is the finished article and that there should be learning in every role you do. However, some experience in the following is important for this position:
You’re a seasoned relationship builder with a deep understanding of the employee benefits landscape and a passion for mental health. You’re skilled at bridging the gap between external stakeholders and internal teams, with a knack for positioning solutions in a way that resonates.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in consultant relations, partnerships, or business development within the mental health, employee benefits, or HR technology sectors.
Proven success in building relationships with brokers, consultants, and advisors to drive revenue growth.
Deep understanding of the employee benefits and mental health markets, including trends, challenges, and key players.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience representing a brand at industry events and conferences.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Passion for mental health and Unmind’s mission.
