Job Description

*Our summer season runs between March and Novemer 2025, depending on the destination. You should be available for at least five months within that period. There will also be a face-to-face training around March/April that you need to attend.*

This job is open to experienced Childcare individuals with an EU passport who are willing to move to one of our holiday destinations during Summer 2025. If you speak English and German, keep reading!

ABOUT YOU

  • You genuinely love and have experience working with children; a recognised childcare education is helpful but not mandatory.
  • You are a fun and vibrant personality with the ability to work solo and as part of an international team.
  • You have experience in supporting or supervising colleagues, and can communicate confidently with international colleagues, children & parents/guardians.
  • Willingness to learn and commit, as well as being an adaptable and flexible individual with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • You are fully conversational in English and German; additional languages will be helpful.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You will create and supervise a fun & exciting age-appropriate programme for children aged 0-12 which covers developmental needs and is full of magical moments.
  • Lead a small national or international team in a fun, safe environment by coaching, guiding, and managing team performance in addition to celebrating success using weekly guest feedback.
  • You also ensure that health and safety standards are always maintained to the highest standards, as set out in the childcare handbook.
  • And finally, you will support your TUI colleagues by answering parents/guardians’ questions and solving problems.

ÜBER DICH

  • Du liebst die Arbeit mit Kindern, hast bereits private oder berufliche Erfahrung und im Idealfall eine Qualifikation im Bereich Pädagogie/Kinderbetreuung/soziales Arbeiten.
  • Du bist lebenslustig, dynamisch, und kannst sowohl allein als auch in einem internationalen Team arbeiten.
  • Du hast Erfahrung damit ein Team zu koordinieren und gehst selbstbewusst mit internationalen Kolleg*Innen, Kindern und Eltern um.
  • Auch unter Druck bist du anpassungsfähig, flexibel, und bereit den Anforderungen des Jobs nachzukommen.
  • Du sprichst fließend Englisch und Deutsch; weitere Sprachen sind von Vorteil.

ÜBER DEN JOB

  • Gestalte und leite ein spannendes, altersgerechtes Programm für Kinder von 0-3 Jahren, welches die Entwicklungsbedürfnisse abdeckt und voller magischer Momente ist.
  • Während du selbst am Programm teilnimmst, führst du ein kleines nationales oder internationales Team. Coache, leite an und manage die Teamleistung.
  • Sorge dafür, dass unsere hohen Standards einschließlich der Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsrichtlinien in der Kinderbetreuung eingehalten werden.
  • Du stellst die Gäste in den Mittelpunkt Deines Handelns, indem Du die Fragen der Eltern/Erziehungsberechtigten beantwortest, Probleme löst und Dich, wenn möglich, an die Wünsche der Gäste anpasst.
