Job Description

Joining the TUI Musement Quality Assurance Team as a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products and services. You will support the engineering teams by defining, implementing, and improving testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality standards. Your work will involve preventing defects, detecting issues early in the software development lifecycle, and ensuring observability and reliability in critical applications, helping the organization deliver exceptional value to its customers.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Oversee all testing and quality standards, perform quality assurance activities on multiple application releases, monitor and document testing activities
  • Coach and guide the Product Team to embed quality into all stages of development, ensuring it is viewed as a shared responsibility
  • Be responsible about the QA process during the Product life cycle, from design till delivery, reporting to QA Manager function
  • Great communicator that collaborates with Cross-Functional teams by working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Create and maintain all quality assurance policies as agreed with Product & Tech functions
  • Together with QA Team and Bug Triage Engineers must ensure all defects/bug/incident have the proper information to be prioritized in the backlog

ABOUT YOU

  • Proficiency on debugging and troubleshooting
  • Passionate about Quality and proactive in Knowledge sharing within the QA community
  • Mentoring less experienced members and promoting best practices
  • Able to autonomously code automated End to End test
  • Proficiency in Quality processes such as Shift left, and Risk based testing
  • Able to understand a microservice based architecture and architecture design documentation
  • Actively contributes to write Test cases, Test scenarios and End to End tests
  • Triaging skills to keep the backlog refined Understand User Stories and Agile development, be an active part in team ceremonies Scrum o Kanban (daily, planning, retrospective)
  • Strong' experience of frontend testing and debugging tools and API client tools (cURL, Selenium, Python, Pytest, REST Api Testing or any type of automation testing tool)

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience of Docker and containerization, AWS, shell, git, familiarity with Continuous Integration systems (eg. Gitlab, Github, Jenkins)
  • Experience in Performance Testing (eg Locust, JMeter or similar)
  • Experience of Master Observability and Monitoring tools (eg.Datadog)
  • ISTQB foundations certification
  • Experience in the Touristic industry
