We are looking for a talented and dedicated technical enthusiast to join the newly formed Colleague Computing technology organisation which provides common services such as IT devices and Collaboration services to our colleagues.

The Senior Digital Platform Engineer is a practitioner of state-of-the-art digital colleague services e.g (Microsoft cloud services). Working in an agile environment and keeping up with the ever-evolving technical landscape the Senior Digital Platform Engineer is a lifelong learner and likes to think out of the box.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • As a Senior Digital Platform Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team or a practice team that enables Identity services across the organisation. Being an enthusiast in all things about Microsoft Technology, with a strong DevSecOps mindset, and thanks to your excellent collaboration skills you will work with your team to deliver the best answers to our colleague needs and to take over full responsibility for its applications, from design to operation.
  • Care diligently about the quality of your work, including proper documentation and security aspects.
  • Use your excellent technical skills to work closely with your colleagues to ensure an optimal infrastructure which is based on building blocks across the organisation.
  • Develop, administrate and support different services/products in the workplace environment based on various Microsoft solutions and guide your colleagues and teams on using the right tools for the right job.
  • Furthermore, you are supporting and coaching your fellow Engineers, Architects and Service Desk colleagues to deliver the best experience for our colleagues.
  • Able to verbalise your thoughts and ideas and take the initiative to translate ideas into outcomes. Together with the teams in the domain, relevant Practice teams as well as the Group Enabler teams you will also research, evaluate and test new approaches, processes and tools and help teams to use them effectively.
  • Active contribution to Communities of Practice, including collaboration in shared initiatives. For this you are well-connected across the domain and within the broader TUI community.
  • Love to work in an international, multi-cultural team. You challenge constructively and have high expectations of yourself and others.
  • Always drive for technical excellence, ownership and self-organisation at team and personal level.
  • Regularly coach, guide and develop more junior colleagues.
  • Love to learn and acquire new skills and keep up to date with latest developments in your focus areas.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven deep knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure/ EntraID and related services like for example Enterprise Applications, Conditional Access, B2B/B2C accounts and Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of engineering workflows.
  • Programming skills at a proficient level to work with multiple software development technologies, e.g. Visual Basic, PowerShell, Python.
  • Customer centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services.
  • Demonstrating true engineering craftsmanship mindset.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, collaboration and great teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills coupled with good communication skills.
  • Open minded, inquisitive, life-long learner.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, highly autonomous.
  • Experience in working in an agile environment and able to integrate architecture practises and agile ways of working.
  • Comfortable with coordinating tasks in the work environment.
